Some "amazing" innovations could also be unethical and Dangerous: simulated brains!

RISKY!?

Large scale simulations of the brain.

[Good medical practice, or a very slippery slope into unethical practice and dangerous AI?

AI can be great, medical research is great, But...
This potentially useful medical application could eventually, and accidentally, smash through the barrier of what is ethical, harm artificially created sentient life (or even harm the "real" partially reanimated human life corresponding to those people that had their brains scanned and loaded into the super-computer), and (so) create the dangerous AI systems that we should be trying to avoid.
